Kardo by Veltis
Time tracking and HR management
Time clock, hours and documents for your team, with no spreadsheets and no paper.

What Kardo does
From the clock-in record to the HR dashboard
Clock in by phone, with location verified
The team clocks in, clocks out and logs breaks in the app, wherever they are working. Each unit has its own radius, and any clock-in outside it reaches you flagged.
An hour bank that calculates itself
Overtime, late arrivals and compensatory time calculated by your company's work schedule rules. At month-end close, the timesheet comes out signed by the employee.
Shift schedules and holidays for each unit
Work hours by day of the week, days-off rotation and the holiday calendar for each branch, in one place.
Medical certificates and vacation, paperless
The employee sends the medical certificate through the app, with the file attached. You approve it, and the absence goes straight into the hours calculation. Vacations entered in the dashboard also justify the days without clock-ins.
Pay stubs and receipts signed from the phone
Send pay stubs, receipts and other documents to the whole team and track who has already signed.
Pay advances and transit vouchers
HR enters the advance and generates the transit voucher receipt for the whole team, and the employee signs digitally in the app.
Disciplinary actions on record
Every action taken is recorded in the employee's history.
A dashboard for decision-makers
Who has already clocked in, who is absent, what is awaiting your approval, and reports in spreadsheet and PDF formats. Each manager sees only their own part: Administrator, Unit Manager and Area Manager.

Month-end close

Security and Portaria 671
Reliable time and a traceable record
Portaria 671/2021
The electronic time clock ordinance requires reliable time and records that cannot be lost. Kardo was built around these two points.
Clock-in stamped by the server
The employee's clock-in is time-stamped by the Kardo server, with the location checked against the unit's radius.
Corrections only with approval
A correction requested by the employee starts with a stated reason and only takes effect after the manager approves it. Changes made through the dashboard are kept in the audit log.
Privacy
The employee accepts the privacy terms on first access, and each company can only see its own data.
Implementation

Frequently asked questions
Questions from anyone evaluating
How long until Kardo is up and running?
Implementation takes up to 10 days.
Do employees need to install an app?
No app store needed. Kardo opens in the phone's browser and can be installed on the home screen, like an app.
How does Kardo handle what Portaria 671/2021 requires?
In Kardo, the employee's clock-in is timestamped by the server, a correction requested by the employee only takes effect after the manager approves it, and changes made through the dashboard are recorded in the audit trail. This is what Kardo does with respect to the two points that Portaria 671/2021 requires of electronic time clocks: reliable time and a record that cannot be lost.
Does it work for teams that work in more than one place?
Yes. Each clock-in records the location and each unit can have a radius. A clock-in outside it is flagged for the manager to review.
Does Kardo run payroll?
No. Kardo handles time clock records, absences and team documents, and closes the timesheet for each period. Payroll stays in the system the company already uses or with Veltis's payroll department.
Who has access to the dashboard?
There are three levels: the Administrator sees the whole company, the Unit Manager sees their branches and the Area Manager sees the people in their area.
Is Kardo sold separately from the accounting service?
Yes, it can be contracted independently or together with the Veltis service.
How does Kardo handle employee data?
The employee accepts the privacy terms on first access, each company sees only its own data, and changes made through the dashboard are recorded in the audit trail.
